When the new Parma striker makes his debut in the Serie A title clash with Juventus

Parma are expected to start the new season with a 2-1 victory over Juventus.

After winning the Coppa Italia and Coppa Della Calcio titles in the same season in 2014-15, the Rossoneri are looking to continue their recent success in the Coppi Italia, which they won the league twice in the last three seasons.

It is believed the club will start the season with an all-Italian lineup, although they have yet to announce the squad.

Parma are the only team in the top three in the league and have a record of nine wins, one draw and four losses in nine games so far this season.

Piedmont boss Giovanni Trapattoni has confirmed that striker Andrea Pirlo will be the first player to take his place in the starting line-up for the Cozzone derby.

Pirlo scored the winner for the Nerazzurri in their 2-0 win over Torino last Saturday, but he will be out for two weeks with a broken leg.

The Nerazzurs will then be hoping to see the Italy international score against them in the first leg of the title race.

Juventus are also expected to be looking to make the Cozza title defence with a victory against Parma, as the Bianconeri look to avoid the drop of the league.

Juve have now won eight consecutive Serie A games in all competitions and have already secured the Cozzo crown.
